History & legacy
The company was founded in 2018 by three experienced marketing professionals, Magnus Dahlquist, Patrik Segersven, and Henry Mäkelä, with the ambition to create a small boutique- and lifestyle agency. That ambition was quite short-lived and 6 months later the decision was made to scale the agency to become sizable enough to have a real impact on the industry – an industry that the founders were firm believers lacked transparency and suffered from ineffective media buying/management. Though the ambition changed quickly, Bluebird’s three focus pillars remain the same to this date: people, purpose, and planet.
We’re a service company at our core, and as such, our single most important asset is the people working here. Company culture is not something that can be bought for money. It’s something that is built up over time, and that is inherent to a company. Exceptional company culture promotes a helpful, collaborative environment in which we celebrate success and learn from failures. Staying in a state of lifelong learning is a key ingredient to make us stay relevant over time.

We have earned a reputation of ourselves to be at the forefront of both technology and marketing services – a reputation that has fueled our growth since the start and will continue to do so going forward.
Bluebird’s tireless pursuit of perfection does not end with high employee and client satisfaction. As a company, we also genuinely care about the planet. Some key initiatives we continue to build upon for this include carbon offsetting the company's yearly emissions and only working with green suppliers along with other initiatives.
